Hi Everyone I have had a couple of people ask me about the duration of the Level 3 and Level 5 courses. We have suggested a maximum of 6 months for the level 3 and 12 months for the Level 5 , but if you need more time due to a change of circumstances ( or a global pandemic!) then of course we will accommodate that. On the other hand it is also perfectly ok for you to complete either course in a shorter period of time. I know that some of you are keen to get on with this over the summer holidays. Online lessons with your pupils for the Level 5 course are also fine.
If you have any questions about the course or about maths in general please post them here.

Hi Judy,
I've currently only signed up for level 3 because I had no idea which students I would be working with in school back when we had to book. Now that I know I'm supporting Year 6 pupils who I worked with last year, I think there is a chance that I might be able to get an opportunity to do the teaching. So I just wanted to ask about how to choose a student to work with. Do they need a diagnosis of dyscalculia, dyslexia or just be struggling with maths? Apologies if this was in the initial course info.

Hi Jenny Thanks for your post. The only requirement for your student would be that they are struggling with maths, so they don't need any formal diagnosis. If you want to transfer to the Level 5 course we can just swap you over once you have completed the Level 3 course. Best wishes Judy
